Announcing exciting new workshop as part of Taking pART 2018 free art workshops and outings for participants over 50.
Willunga Gallery, 29 High Street, Willunga. Come along and join in the fun of learning a new art skill.
No experience is necessary to create your own unique piece of art to take home – be it a wall hanging, mandala, street number sign or candle holder – the possiblities are endless.
Based loosely on colourful Mexican tin art and the fabulously decorated trucks and buses of Pakistan – “Tin Arting” uses flashing or builders aluminium to provide an easy and fun material to work with, plus an array of “tools” ranging from old pencils, cake decorating tools, various kitchen utensils to create the simplest or most intricate patterns. The finished pieces can be left as is or coloured using sharpies.
Date: Tuesday 17th April from 10.30am to 3pm.
For more information and to book your place in the class, please ring 8326 2992 between 9am to 3pm on Tuesday or Thursday or Irene on 0433033455 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
